21st century technology helps Cheung’s Trading sell age-old herbal remedies

As Cheung’s Trading Company prepares to celebrate three decades in business, the owners say the have the Internet to thank in part for helping them maintain – and even grow – their clientele despite the city’s economic ups and downs.

“In the past few years, as we have stepped up our effort to get more exposure on various types of social media, a lot of new business (has) come from there,” said Steven Cheung, whose parents Jack and Regina opened the store at 2030 Wyandotte St. W. in 1985.
